The first ever Kop Left Player of the Season award was won by Philippe Coutinho back in the 2012/13 season. Since then the ratings system has been changed slightly to include a decimal point, effectively making it a score out of 20 rather than 10. Luis Suarez was unsurprisingly the best player in the 2013/14 season, and his impressive displays saw him earn a transfer to Barcelona, taking his place amongst the best players in the world.
